Ryan Shaffer, Esq. is an entertainment lawyer and Managing Partner at Lafayette Group in New York. Over a decade in and around the music business, his work has spanned business and legal affairs at Roc Nation, brand innovation at Savage X Fenty, and counsel for independent artists, producers, and small labels.

A Howard University and University of North Carolina alum, Ryan moves comfortably between the deal room and the studio. His practice covers recording and producer agreements, publishing and split sheets, sync and brand licensing, management structures, and the everyday paperwork that decides who actually owns what.

Beyond the practice, Ryan is the founder of the BRKTHRU Foundation, supporting individuals and families navigating mental, physical, and psycho-spiritual health.
